Thank you for applying the be a designer for Beauty Lifestyle Network Fall Fashion Week 2023. There is no fee for your participation. Some of the benefits for BLN Fashion Week Fashion and Accessory Designers include the following:

  • A featured 30-minute show

  • Inclusion in the BLN Fall Fashion Week Directory

  • Eligibility for several awards, including Best In Category, Rising Star, Fashion Sustainability, Social Justice, and Outstanding Collection (fan vote).

  • Free All Access Passes for your fans, friends, and family

 

Viewers will be able to discover your work, shop your looks, and vote for you.

 

Again, Thank you for applying to be a designer for BLN's debut Fashion Week. Below, you will find everything you need to prepare.

Next Steps

  1. Check your email for an acceptance notification. The email will include a link for scheduling your filming date.

  2. After the email is sent, a BLN Fashion Week team member will give you a call to confirm your filming and rehearsal dates, go over your equipment requirements, and answer any questions you have. Check out the sample videos below to decide how you want your show to look.

  3. Next, you will meet remotely with the producer for a rehearsal session.

  4. After that, your next remote session will be when your show will be filmed. 

  5. Finally, you will receive the show schedule, including the day and time your show will stream, along with instructions for getting free tickets for your friends and family, as well as instructions for how they can vote for you to win the Outstanding Collection award.

Equipment Requirements

You will need the following minimum equipment to create your virtual fashion show:

  • Cellphone or Tablet (2 years old or newer)

  • Stand for cell phone or tablet

  • 2 Studio Lights (if indoor)

  • Good Internet connection

  • Indoor Studio space / Cityscape Scene / Park Scene

  • 5+ Models

Designer Criteria

Designers who are chosen to participate in BLN Fashion Week range from established fashion veterans to new up-and-comers looking to make their mark. Designers should be able to showcase an original collection that embodies their unique perspective on style while demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship in the construction of their pieces. Your collection should tell a story that speaks to a particular demographic of women.

 

Designer Criteria

  • Have created at least 2 collections

  • Have a collection of 10 pieces or more

  • Have Profession Website

  • Have Access to a Location for your fashion show (see Production section for details)

  • Have Access to Models

  • Has Sold in Retail

  • Categories: - Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear, Formal, Activewear, Accessories

  • Provide a lookbook for the featured collection in the show
